Just two miles from Hereford and set in the tranquil Herefordshire countryside, Lyde Court offers cyclist-friendly accommodation with character and flexibility. Whether you’re a solo adventurer, part of a cycling club, a family group, or a couple on a tour, we provide a warm welcome and a great base to rest and recharge.
Choose from individual double and family rooms or dormitory-style group accommodation. Some rooms come with en suite bathrooms, while others share facilities, offering a range of options to suit all budgets. A light breakfast is included - served in our communal kitchen and we’re happy to provide hearty breakfasts and evening meals for groups by prior arrangement.
We offer secure on-site bike storage, bike wash facilities and a dedicated drying area to keep your kit fresh and ready for the next ride. After a day on the road or trails, relax in our beautiful courtyard around the firepit, enjoy a stroll through our grounds or explore the surrounding public footpaths.
Guests are often invited to join our regular live music and entertainment events – many of which are free of charge (subject to availability). Whether you’re touring, mountain biking, or on a group cycling holiday, Lyde Court offers a memorable stay in a unique and peaceful setting.

Lyde Court is ideally located just two miles from the centre of Hereford, surrounded by peaceful countryside and a network of quiet lanes and bridleways perfect for two-wheeled exploration. With bike storage, a bike wash and drying facilities on site, it’s the perfect base for exploring some of Herefordshire’s most scenic and rewarding cycling routes.From the doorstep, cyclists can enjoy gentle meanders through the Black and White Village Trail, a picturesque 40-mile circular route that takes in half-timbered medieval villages such as Weobley, Pembridge and Eardisland. Each village offers charming cafés and pubs for well-earned breaks.
To the east, the Malvern Hills provide more challenging climbs and dramatic panoramic views, while the open rolling landscapes of the Bromyard Downs offer quieter roads and off-road options with big-sky vistas.
The Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is also within easy reach, offering riverside rides and forest trails, and the Golden Valley route via Abbey Dore and Longtown delivers a perfect mix of heritage, hills and sweeping descents.
