Alston Youth Hostel
Alston Youth Hostel is situated on the edge of Alston town high up in the North Pennines (The Roof of England!) in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The Pennine Way and South Tyne Trail runs right by the side of the hostel and is the first accommodation you reach in Alston after the long walk from Dufton over Cross Fell (the highest point of The Pennine Way). We are also about half way on the ever popular Coast to Coast (C2C) cycle route which runs from Whitehaven/Workington to Tynemouth

Accommodation Facilities
The current owners Linda, Neil & Jenny are keen walkers (Neil is a keen cyclist too) so understand what guests need after a long day’s activity! A hot shower, good night’s sleep, good hearty home cooked food and, because of the unpredictable English weather, a nice warm drying room! All can be found at Alston Youth Hostel!Contact:
