Le Haut Genet the Bikers retreat

Mick and Ruth, who share a passion for motorcycling, will be pleased to greet you. Come and explore the beautiful Brittany/Lower Normandy/Loire regions of France at our Maison Secondaire, Le Haut Gen’t, in the Mayenne department.
We provide: secure parking in one of our barns, space to store your gear, drying facilities, breakfast and 4 course evening meal, (incl beer/wine,) towels and bedlinen. We are close to some of the best biking roads in the region, and will provide ideas and maps for rides out. We cater for groups (up to 6-8 people) and our aim is to make you feel at home during your stay with us.
Accommodation: We are situated 3.3 miles NE of the village of Landivy. The house is an former fermette built in the late 1800’s and typical of rural French property in the region.Bedrooms as described above. Throughout the property there is a lot of exposed stone and beams, to retain the character of the house. The cottage sits in its own grounds in excess of an acre on top of a small hill and faces due south. The sunsets can be stunning!

Parking: Parking is available in the barn, and there is off-road parking for several cars.
Food: Breakfast, either full English or substantial Continental, served in the dining room or on the patio. 4-course evening meal or BBQ provided, with beer/wine. Our week’s package also includes a visit to a local village restaurant for a lunchtime 4-course meal with red wine or local cider.
Bikers’ Barn with: tumble drier, kettle, microwave, coffee/tea making facilities, clothes’ airer, fridge, table tennis, pool table, dartboard, hi-fi.
