Welcome to La Chapelle, the building was once home to monks of this region. Its now home of The Roberts Family and we welcome you to come and stay at our lovely piece of Normandy history.
We have a large garden with outdoor furniture and bbq area for our guests to relax. Running through the grounds is a stream which attracts wildlife. Adjacent land provides an area for a stroll while staying within the grounds. We also have an outside games room ,Boules Area.
Coast/Beach
D-Day beaches (Omaha and Utah). Grand Camp Maisy and Point Du Hoc. Places of Interest Carentan (Band of Brothers) Isigny Sur Mer, Bayeux Tapestry are all within 25 minutes by car. Saint-Lo 10 Minutes. Mont St Michel 50 minutes by car.
Golfing breaks
We are situated within an hours drive of 6 excellent golf courses suitable for all golfing enthusiasts Courses include ;
Omaha Beach 2 18 hole courses with stunning views of the D Day landing beach and surrounding countryside.
Granville stunning 27 hole links course situated on the Mont St. Michel Bay, Coutanville 18 hole links course with British style clubhouse.

Accommodation Facilities
The five en-suite guest rooms are located in the house itself and are furnished with comfort in mind. Each room is tastefully decorated and all bedrooms have tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast is served in the dining room. La Chapelle is a very peaceful, relaxing place to stay. Once you stay here, it is our aim that you will return again and again.
For cyclists we can provide secure garage space for your use.

Further details
The house itself is located on the D-Day Route de "Choc" and Route de Libert.
We are within easy reach to local shops, supermarkets, banks, pharmacies and many restaurants and bars. We are ideally located for country walks and cycling. Internet Access available on request.
We look forward to welcoming you to La Chapelle to enjoy our rural home whilst convenient situated for many good day trips, a stopover to and from the ferry or whilst you are just passing through !
