Run by bikers – St Pol-sur-Ternoise
Les Ballastières is a bike-friendly B&B run by bikers, Paul and Sue, originally from East Sussex. Members of MAG and HDRCGB, we welcome all makes and models of bikes.
We also offer two self-catering options:
* The Old Forge: for 2-4 people, this is a wheelchair-friendly studio, but suitable for all. (This can also be let on B&B basis, min 2 nights)
* The Old Stable: for 2-5 people on 2 floors. Upstairs – one bedroom with double bed (and optional folding single bed); one bedroom with two single beds; shower room with toilet. Downstairs – open plan with kitchen, dining and sitting area

Also available, bed & breakfast rooms in the house and indoor camping in the old hayloft.

Location
Within easy reach from Calais, Boulogne and Dunkerque, Les Ballastières is an old farmhouse with a large courtyard. Standing in 6 acres, Les Ballastières is set in peaceful countryside yet within easy walking distance of St Pol-sur-Ternoise, and only 5 minutes from the race track at Croix-en-Ternois!In the heart of the 7 Valleys, we are within easy reach of the Somme, along some great riding roads, where there are many historic sites including the WW1 battlefields and their imposing memorials. By contrast, there are also good roads to the pretty coastal town of St Valery-sur-Somme, the popular resort of Le Touquet, the medieval town of Montreuil, as well as the bigger towns of Arras, Lille and Amiens.
