Aux Quatre Saisons
Bed & Breakfast
Aude valley in the sunny South of France
Wonderful roads, a bikers paradise, situated in the wonderful Aude valley in the sunny South of France. We have been voted one of the TOP TEN PLACES TO STAY IN FRANCE by ’Cycling Plus’ magazine.
We have also been awarded 5* by www.tripadvisor.com. Please go to their website to view independent reviews from previous guests.
An excellent breakfast is included in all room rates. This recently opened Bed and Breakfast is run by Paul and Val Bridgestock and we have worked hard to make your stay very happy and comfortable. Our house is a large ’maison de maitre’ or gentleman’s residence dating from 1800, complete with terrace and large garden with sun loungers, etc. The house has been brought up to a good modern standard and your bedroom has a ceiling fan (air conditioning units as well in hot weather), en suite shower and toilet, etc, coffee making facilities and fridge with complimentary beer and wine and cold drinks.
We also have a luxurious Appartment which can sleep 2 or 3 (or 4) people. This is exceptionally well equipped with lounge area with leather sofa’s and English TV, etc.
In the village you will find a superb Restaurant (evening menus start at 12 Euros, lunchtimes are even cheaper and the quality is really excellent). There is an excellent Bar which also serves a wide range of food on its Riverside Terrace, Tea rooms, Bakers, Bank with Cash Machine, 24 hr Petrol Station, Newsagents (British newspapers available), Chemists, Doctors, Cinema and best of all a brand new
We speak English so communication is not a problem and our website has a lot of information about this wonderful area.
We promise you a warm welcome!

Accommodation Facilities
The rooms are airy and comfortable. There is an outside sun terrace for breakfast (breakfast inside on cooler days). It goes without saying that you can book as many nights as you wish!
FANTASTIC OUTDOOR HEATED SWIMMING POOL.
Location
We are in the small town of Axat only a minutes walk away from the magnificent Aude river (a tributary of the river runs through the garden). Snuggled in the valley, the village is bordered by mountains and magnificent views. If arriving by bike the roads around here are fantastic. The Tour de France passes our front garden most years on what is regarded as one of the most picturesque sections of the race.
