In the heart of the Eifel Region of Germany
“Home from Home” is a phrase often used by our guests who come to stay with us in one of our 2 two officially 4 Star exceptionally spacious and well equipped luxury apartments in Gerolstein that overlook the town, valley and mountains beyond.
Gerolstein, is at the heart of the Eifel Region of Germany, less than 4 hours drive from the Channel ports of Calais, Dunkirk and Zeebrugge and located reasonably close to the motor racing circuits of Spa Francorchamps and the Nürburgring, and offers a multitude of holiday activities in a peaceful location.
Gerolstein is situated on the perimeters of National and Nature Parks and within the internationally recognized Geo Park Vulkaneifel whilst the Dolomites of Gerolstein upon which our house is built is designated a World Heritage Site.
Bordered by Rhine and Moselle rivers and the Roman cities of Aachen, Cologne, Coblenz and Trier the Eifel Region is steeped in history and today, in addition to sightseeing by car, the region had been developed as a paradise for walkers, cyclists and bikers.
Our Apartments
Our House is set on the hillside beneath the Munterley Plateau of the renowned Gerolstein Dolomites in a prime residential area 400 metres from the main line station and 600 metres from the town centre and enjoys commanding and stunning views across the valley and town to the hills and mountains beyond.
The House is a large semi-detached property with real character on 3 levels, recently acquired and re-furbished, with the majority of rooms south facing.
Two Spacious 4 Star Luxury Holiday Apartments have been created within the house.
Apartment PETER at 93 m2 of living space is located on the lower ground floor with access to English TV programmes.
Apartment CHARLIE at 85 m2 of living space is located on the upper floor.
An additional Luxury Guest Double Bedroom at 17 m2 of living space is located on the upper floor and is available separately upon request.
A fully tiled Bathroom and toilet at 7 m2 directly adjoins Apartment Peter for the general use of guests and is accessible from the house and garden.
The accommodation on the ground floor is now the home of the resident owner, Gisela, and her English husband, Alan, who moved to Gerolstein from Telford after spending over 30 years together and raising their family in England.
The move is a realised retirement ambition of both who regard Germany as their home and also to live in an area of significant outstanding beauty, close to German family and easily accessible by air from our UK family. We set extremely high standards and we are certain that our Apartments will not disappoint.
