Accommodation Facilities
The Pods.
Why not avoid the adverse effects of driving rain. The Pods are small cabins that provide that camping experience without the need to put up or take down and then dry wet tents.
The Pods make a convenient and cheap option for those taking a break whilst perhaps walking the John Muir Way. Aberlady is on the route of the walk. Or for those just wanting to camp, but not with the hassles of using a tent.
Each Pod sleeps two people. They are fully insulated, have electricity, a double glazed window and a lockable door. A seating area is also provided with each pod and from there you can look out onto the beautiful view of the Lammermuirs.
Please note that you still need to bring your own sleeping bag and camping equipment, althought sleeping bags can be hired on site.
Cooking washing and toilet facilities are available on site.
Location
The Park is situated in pleasantly wooded surroundings and enjoys a charming outlook south to the Lammermuir Hills.
Although the park is in a rural location the City of Edinburgh is a mere 15 minutes away by train from either Longniddry or Drem.
The Nature Reserve of Aberlady Bay is but a short distance away through Aberlady village, where you will also find great places to eat.
Slightly further afield lie Gullane with it’s famous golf courses including the Open Championship course of Muirfield and the seaside resort of North Berwick.
