Find a friendly welcome for both you and your dream machine. Whether you ride a Harley or a Hyabusa. We have a wet area for drying your gear and secure parking for peace of mind
The Kings Arms has a total of 10 Bedrooms - a mixture of Double & Twins and 2 Single rooms. One of the doubles has Bunk Beds - so ideal for a family. We have also more recently made a a self contained apartment. This annexe has 2 x Twin Rooms , Kitchen and utility room which is kitted out with all the appliances including a washing machine, bathroom with separate Shower & Bath and a Sitting Room with a Plasma Freeview. In Total we can comfortably sleep 22 as we often do for some of our larger golf groups.

Location
Nestling between the Galloway hills and forests to the north and the sweeping beaches of the Solway Firth to the south, the historic market town of Castle Douglas has always been at the heart of local agricultural and commercial life. Today the town continues to flourish.Livestock markets are still held every week, attracting discerning buyers and breeders from around the world, while the town’s unique mix of businesses attracts shoppers and visitors time and again. Many of the shops are personally run and that personal service is a common denominator in Castle Douglas.
Castle Douglas sits just off the main A75 Euroroute - 1 hour from the M6/M74 at Gretna Green and 1 hour from the Ferry Ports of Stranraer and Cairnryan. Prestwick Airport is also a little over 1 hour and the scenery is stunning on the drive down the A713
