Our sunny studio apartment sleeps 2 and is located within the idyllic Gosau valley’s prestigious Vitalhotel sport/leisure complex, so you have a pool, sauna, wellness centre and gym, bars and a restaurant... to enjoy on site! It’s well worth stopping here for three or four days to stretch your legs, and explore the local sites and beautiful smooth bendy roads.
The apartment consists of a large room with twin beds and wardrobe at the rear, and a large sofa and dining table at the front with a large window looking on to the balcony and valley view.
There is also a modern kitchen and a bathroom with tub and shower above, with endless hot water!
An exhilarating range of outdoor activities, like tubing, rafting, climbing and paragliding can also be found close by; it’s not just skiing and hiking! Sightseeing, shopping, lake swimming, Ice Cave and salt mines to visit too!
Gosau is lovely, with homes scattered around the valley, with the massive Dachstein (and glacier) towering above the Gosausee lake. Wide trails around it and up on the mountain plateau are there for less enthusiastic walkers to enjoy, with fabulous views from the mountain hut terrace where you can lunch in the sun.
We think it’s the perfect holiday apartment for couples of all ages who seek enjoy all-year-round outdoor activities in this beautiful heart of the Salzkammergut lakes region.
With a wide choice of local village, mountain and lakeside restaurants, dining out is a very enjoyable experience! So eat out, or dine in and relax on our sun-facing balcony with the tinkling sounds of cowbells and the distant church chimes for an unforgettably lovely atmosphere.
So come and stay here, to be comfortably accommodated, whilst overlooking the beautiful Alps scenery.

Accommodation Facilities
It consists of a large main room, with beds to the rear and two sofas for comfort, and a dining table at the front leading to the balcony. There is also a kitchen and bathroom.Our 3rd floor balcony has extensive views of the valley, and is a lovely place to dine when the sun shines.
The hotel offers us free use of the pool and sauna, our guests will also get special discounted prices for meals taken in the hotel’s restaurant, if booked in advance, you can also have Half Board on the days you select!

Location
Gosau is the premier ski resort of the ’touristy’ Salzkammergut (lakes) region, and in other seasons, is a popular base for walkers and mountain cyclists with over 400 kms of marked trails to enjoy, in stunning scenery.It’s great motorbiking around here too.
