The hotel staff will be pleased to provide you with a wealth of maps and accompanying material to help you plan your daily tours. Our chef is also an experienced biker, and can offer guided motorcycle tours to the region’s overlooked and out-of-the-way attractions.
As the sun drops behind the hills, you can then repair to a fireside barbecue or one of the many local hostelries, beer gardens or wine bars opened specially to let you sample this year’s new wine, and talk your bike talk into the night.

Location
It also offers direct access to the Ballrechten-Dottingen region, neighbouring Black Forest and nearby French region of Alsace, which is just ten miles (16km) away.Just a few miles further on, and you are in the valley of Münstertal, from where the road carries you straight up into the Belchen region, before heading up hill and down dale on a switchback route that takes you past some idyllically beautiful landscapes and breathtaking viewing points.
This really is biking at its best, including as it does the various passes of the Alsace / Vogesen region, interspersed with breaks in the uniquely characteristic small towns and villages that dot the landscape along the way.
