Lochranza Campsite
Campsite
Lies at the North of the beautiful Isle of Arran.
We warmly welcome cyclists to Lochranza Campsite.
We are well-positioned for an overnight camp whether you are touring round Arran or travelling on via the Lochranza-Claonaig ferry link to tour the Western Isles.
We are situated at the south end of the picturesque village of Lochranza, opposite the Arran Distillery. We are a quiet site surrounded by hills and share the space with visiting deer, red squirrels and badgers. We are also a superb vantage point for viewing golden eagles.
If you don’t want to carry a tent on your bike, we have three camping pods available for hire. They are unfurnished but have lights and heating.

Accommodation Facilities
Your fee of £9 per person per night in a small tent includes access to: very clean washroom facilities including hot showers and hairdryers, a small launderette with drying cupboard, wi-fi, and a comfortable campers’ lounge with kettle, fridge and microwave plus lots of local information.Eating out:
In Lochranza you can eat at the Sandwich Station takeaway near the pier, the Lochranza Hotel Boguille Bar, Casks café at the Distillery and the Stags Pavilion restaurant adjacent to the campsite (booking advised). Please check the opening times.

Location
Lochranza Campsite is reached from the south and east by regular CalMac ferries from Ardrossan to Brodick then North for 14 miles along the island`s peripheral road. The entrance is opposite the Isle of Arran Whisky distillery. The island`s excellent bus service has a stop outside the site.Ferries from Lochranza sail to Kintyre from where you can travel out to the islands of Gigha and Islay, or travel by road to Oban for an alternative route to the busy roads of the Central Belt.
Lochranza Campsite lies at the North of the beautiful Isle of Arran and makes an ideal launching point for tours of the West Highlands and Islands.
