La Colombiere du Chateau - Provence

WE ARE BIKERS and we would love to show you our backyard. We offer clean rooms with private bath and private access. Peace and quite, good food and some of the best biking France has to offer.

The Provence is known for its beautiful scenery and winding roads. If you like to conquer some of our breathtaking passes or prefer exploring some of our stunning gorges.
It all starts at La Colombiere. Just let us know.

We are right in the middle of some of the most beautiful motorbike routes Southern France has to offer!

For those of you that like endless serpentines, Allos, Cayole and Bonnet are just a few of the better known passes in our backyard.

Originally built in the 17th century, La Colombiere is a unique old farmhouse.

It has recently been restored and is situated right behind the Chateau de Saint Laurent in the middle of olive groves and lavender fields.
The attached dovecote gave the building its name and adds to the charm of this traditional Haute Provence farmhouse.

A short winding path of about 1 km through neighboring fields brings you to one of the many lakes in the area where swimming and boating can be enjoyed. If you wish you can also start many hikes through the Verdon Natural Park right from our door step.

And if after a great day in the saddle you don’t feel like going out for dinner, sit down and join us and our friends for some of Barbaras home cooking.
