For adventure and excitement we have Glentress, the mountain biking Mecca in the Tweed Valley less than 20 miles for Sunnycroft Farmhouse B&B, as well as TweedLove event and Tour-o-the-Borders. For pure enjoyment and appreciation of stunning landscapes, meander along the beautiful river valleys of the Ettrick and the Yarrow to the west, or head to the stunning Berwickshire coastline to the east. The Tweed cycle route covers 95 miles. The Scottish Borderlands offer some of the best cycling routes in the country and with a maze of minor roads that are almost traffic free, this has been described as a road cyclist’s paradise.

Guest accommodation at Sunnycroft is perfect for a family of 4/5 or two couples. The cosy lounge/breakfasting room is an ideal space for enjoying one anothers’ company in private, and with the microwave and fridge brought in meals can be enjoyed. A hearty ’Farmer’s breakfast’ will set you up for the day ahead.
