Location

Our cottages are on our working hill farm in Northumberland National Park and the International Dark Sky Park, approximately 3 miles from the main Sandstone Way route, closer still to NCN 68 The Pennine Cycleway, and metres from 1 of the Sandstone Way loops. Although there is no minimum stay, it’s far more economical to stay for a few days which can easily be filled with different routes from the doorstep. If you need a day off from cycling, there are unlimited walks around our 1800 acres plus much more beyond.

For road cyclists, the driveway is passable leading to NCN route 68 1.5 miles away. You can travel for miles without having to touch any A roads. Pam is a keen road and mountain biker so can provide information on routes, cycle friendly cafés, repair shops and cycle hire.
