We operate a large cycle hire fleet from the Kielder Cycle Centre in Kielder village. Easy to find, situated between Kielder Castle and the main car park, we have bikes to suit all abilities and aspirations. Whether you are planning a leisurely ride along the Lakeside Way, or wish to test your skills on the forest’s more technical trails, we have the bike for you.
As well as our high end hardtail MTB’s we also offer Hybrid bikes and a range of smaller bikes for kids, including childseats, tag a longs, Weehoo trailer bikes and a double buggy.
Our latest, and very popular additions to the fleet have been electric bikes from Raleigh and Haibike. We have the top end Raleigh Motus hybrid Ebike in step thru and Gents frames, as well as hard tail and full suspension Haibikes with Bosch and Yamaha motor systems.
Our shop is fully stocked with spare parts and accessories as well as a full range of cycle clothing.
We can also arrange delivery and pick up of cycles and riders who are planning any of the longer distance cycle routes in the area such as the Reivers Cycle route, Hadrians Cycle Way, Pennine Cycle Way, Coast and Castles or the Sandstone Way (the new 120 mile MTB route from Berwick upon Tweed to Hexham).

About The Bike Place in Kielder
Location
Within Kielder Water and Forest Park there are over 100 miles of purpose built cycle trails. Starting with the very picturesque Lakeside Way which is a family friendly multi user path going right around Kielder Water, with lots of outdoor artworks and sculptures to see along the way, we then have the more challenging Blue grade Osprey trail, with two different length options.For the more serious mountain bikers, there are three Red grade trails (Deadwater, Lonesome Pine and Bloody Bush) to test their skills on.
