Cyclists Catherine and Richard are keen to welcome riders to their converted farmhouse on a hillside overlooking the Corrèze/Lot border. They are only 5 minutes from the beautiful medieval town of Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne and within reach of historic sites such as Rocamadour (at 36km, it makes a great round-trip day ride). This is a wonderful base for exploring one of France’s most picturesque regions – there are numerous traffic-free routes from the door, ranging from flat river rides through to the more challenging gorges of the Céré and Dordogne valleys. There are two en-suite rooms (each with its own access) that offer a comfortable resting place after a day on the bike. One room has a small kitchen area with fridge and microwave. Evening meals and packed lunches can be provided on request, as can an early breakfast if you need a prompt start. Safe store for bikes, plus we have plenty of local route info and guidance. Families and small groups welcome and guests have full use of our garden where there are several seating areas with lovely views. Free wifi. English and French spoken. Dogs welcome on request.
