York launches rental e-bike scheme
Tier who already have a trial e-scooter hire operation in York are now expanding their range to include e-bikes.
Users will be able to pick an e-bike from set locations around the city of York, this will include popular sites such as York Hospital and the University Campus.
It is expected that the cost to hire an e-bike from Tier with be the same cost as their e-scooters at about 15 pence per mile. Tier are launching an initial 50 e-bikes to complement their range of 250 e-scooters.
